Advanced Islamic Fall Retreat

Advanced Islamic Fall Retreat (AIFR) is a collaborative project between MISG and MasterPIES. This program costs USD 125 per person, but is offered for free. The 2 days and 1 night program will be conducted using a very SPECIAL technique.

So, what is so special about it?

This program will focus on Surah alFatehah and MasterPIES techniques. Besides lectures, there will be activities to help effectively convey the message of ‘Warkah Cinta Berulang’ – the theme of the program. Many mysteries will soon be uncovered, inshaAllah.

Why ADVANCED?

Compared to the previous IFR programs, this time, Emotional (E) aspect will be stressed in depth and practical, upon in al-Fatehah. It is not muqaddimah (opening or basic) anymore.

What to expect from the program.

The program will seek to respond to these (but not limited to) questions:

• How the understanding of the word ‘Alhamdulillah’ can foster effective communication with your friends?
• Have you been in a situation where you want to invite others to do good deeds, but you are not strong enough to speak the words? We’ll look into the why’s and how’s.
• Have you been in a situation where you do not know what to do and where you lead your life?
• Have you thought – where are the people to support your charity works and your feelings?

In this program, you will be given full practical tips along with fun activities.

At the end of the program, we hope that participants will…

• be able to recognize problems within themselves when they find it hard to increase their doing good deeds.
• be able to communicate with friends without feeling ‘guilty’ when inviting them to do good deeds.
• feel closer to al-Fatehah, and closer to Allah during salaat.
• know very clearly how every single verse in surat al-Fatehah that has been repeated again and again can be the cure to physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual diseases.
• know how the Sahabah and the previous nation managed to use the techniques in surat al-Fatehah as a stepping stone in their lives until they reach a level where saalah was the time  they had always been waiting for.

IFR 2009 is indeed a beneficial program for students who are about to embark upon new phase of their lives in America. An appropriate mental and spiritual program is undeniably imperative to ensure that they can become responsible, progressive and participative Malaysian students.
