Vanderbilt AIFR ‘09 : A package not to be missed!

It has been a tradition for the Malaysian muslim students of Vanderbilt to hold Islamic Fall Retreat (IFR) in collaboration with the Malaysian Islamic Study Group (MISG). IFR has proven to be one of the many events that help the Malaysian muslims to stay in touch with their roots while they continue to engage themelves in seeking Islamic knowledge to better themselves as Muslims, spiritually.
Alhamdulillah, dear Malaysian muslims in the USA…IFR is now back!
The time has come for us to recharge our imaan and nourish our soul. As school started to occupy more of our time with its endless projects and assignments, it is time to retreat and re-evaluate the well-being of our physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual well being. One should not focus only on developing one’s intellectual ability, we should not leave the other three important aspect sof our lives unchecked.
Therefore, it is our pleasure to inform you that the Malaysian Student Association at Vanderbilt (MSAV) and the MISG along with MasterPIES USA have decided to work hand in hand to present to you this year’s ADVANCE Islamic Fall Retreat (AIFR). A two days program which is guaranteed inshaAllah to rejuvenate your soul – simply by learning the beauty of Surah Al-Fatehah.
Not only will this weekend retreat brings you away for the hustle bustle of your students’ life to listening to beneficial Islamic lecture’s, the contents will also be delivered in P-I-E-S perspectives. What more can you wish for? A FREE weekend seminar on the HEART of the Quran, seen through the Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual (PIES) perspectives! WOW, a package not to be missed!
